Leesa brings 30 years of experience in the events industry, with particular expertise in health conferences and professional education. Over two decades with Rural Health West, she has worked closely with clinicians to develop and deliver some of Western Australia’s most recognised rural health conferences, specialist forums and education programs – from major conferences and awards through to highly practical clinical education and immersive wilderness medicine experiences delivered in some remarkable rural and remote locations.

As General Manager of purpose.ground, Leesa combines strategic thinking with a deep understanding of how to turn professional expertise into memorable, meaningful experiences. She is particularly skilled at bringing clinicians, stakeholders and partners together, understanding what an audience needs and creating events that deliver on their purpose – whether that is sharing knowledge, building skills, strengthening professional connections or taking learning somewhere completely unexpected.

Katie brings more than 20 years of event management experience and a reputation for getting things done. Pragmatic, organised and relentlessly focused on the detail, she has delivered complex conferences, awards, professional education events and incentive programs for corporate and not-for-profit clients – managing the budgets, timelines, suppliers and countless moving parts that sit behind a seamless event.

With extensive experience across event production, logistics, sponsorship and exhibitions, stakeholder communications and delegate experience, Katie knows how to take a plan and make it happen – on time, on budget and to an exceptional standard. From major Australasian conferences to events delivered across rural and remote Western Australia, she brings calm, practical problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clients can have confidence that nothing has been left to chance.

Corinne brings more than 20 years of experience across the sport, health and education sectors. With a background in sport science and previous roles with the West Coast Eagles Football Club and Sports Medicine Australia (WA), she brings valuable insight into the culture, priorities and expectations of the sporting sector, alongside almost a decade of experience developing education and professional development in the health sector.

Since joining Rural Health West in 2017, Corinne has led the delivery of a diverse portfolio of conferences, workshops, forums, awards, webinars and other professional development programs. An experienced team leader and program manager, she combines strong stakeholder relationships with practical operational and financial management – understanding what different audiences need and translating that into well-planned, engaging and professionally delivered experiences.

Kate brings more than 10 years of experience delivering conferences, awards, professional development activities and large-scale community events. Her experience spans government, not-for-profit and community sectors, including the delivery of major community activation events. She has a particular flair for event styling and theming – creating environments and experiences that bring an event’s purpose and personality to life.

Behind the creativity, Kate is an experienced and highly organised event manager with particular strengths in event technology, supplier management and complex event logistics. An expert user of EventsAIR, she manages everything from registrations and nominations through to the systems and processes that keep an event running smoothly. She also excels at building strong relationships with venues, production teams, entertainers and specialist suppliers – bringing the right partners together to deliver a polished, memorable experience.

Taylor is an experienced Event Coordinator who has worked across conferences, awards and professional development events. Most recently, she played a key role in the delivery of the 11th Australasian Association of Histology & Histotechnology Conference in Perth, working closely with the organising committee and delegates and developing a strong understanding of the conference, its community and what is important to its success.

Taylor brings excellent organisation, communication and attention to detail to every event. She also has particular expertise in EventsAIR, supporting the systems, registrations and delegate communications that underpin a seamless event experience. Her combination of technical capability and hands-on conference experience makes her a dependable part of the team from early planning through to delivery.
